We needed it cut down before it split and did damage to our house or the neighbors' property. They were fast, efficient and friendly. We couldn't afford to have the stump ground out this time, but will have them back to get rid of it in the future. Loved reading all the glowing reviews of Golden Tree and Ricky and his very professional, highly skilled, and hardworking crew. I also had the pleasant experience of hiring them to cut down two trees (in separate incidences) in my backyard this summer. One was an apple tree who's diseased limbs, heavy with fruit, broke on to my deck and blocked my back stairway. The other was storm damage to a huge old linden tree that crashed a big limb on to my neighbors house and the whole tree needed to be removed ....hopefully as soon as possible. It was an easy choice to choose Golden Tree over the other bids I got, and the other very large companies I have used in the past. Ricky, the owner himself, responded quickly and came to give me estimates for both trees. He also fit us into his schedule as soon as he could. Pricing was fair and honest, too. Both jobs were done with great skill and attention to limiting further damage to lawn and gardens, and clean up was fast and timely, Including stump grinding on separate days. But what makes GoldenTree stand out and what is evident from all their reviews...is the pleasant quality and genuine honest work ethic both the boss and crew bring to the job. It was so exciting watching them through the process! They had a climber in each tree using chainsaws and guys on the ground using ropes and moving limbs on the ground as soon as they fell. They also used a grinder on both stumps.They were all so professional and efficient. They also removed some of the canopy on a third tree that was hanging over the deck and it turned out so beautiful! And they removed numerous saplings that were all along the fence. Ricky offered a very affordable price and he was so honest. Had a dead ash tree in my yard, and my neighbors did all the legwork and got a bunch of quotes and went with Goldentree. My other neighbor signed on as well, so I asked my neighbor if he would let them know about my tree. He did. I met the owner that morning and paid them, and he had indeed added me to the list. I left my house at 8:15 and came back at 10:10 to grab my golf clubs. Both my neighbors ash trees were gone and mine was 3/4 gone. The next morning his team came and removed the stumps. I looked outside and they were making and leaf blowing the remains. Besides the little hill that led to the base of the trunk, it was pristine. I then tilled the hump, moved 4 wheelbarrows of dirt, flattened my lawn and planted a new tree. Great service. Great price.
